R&D

Continuous improvement in the sterilization process means that our equipment offers increasingly better results.

Raphanel has brought a lot of innovations to the market since its starting. Continuously investing in R&D to make the most innovative, reliable and efficient steam sterilization equipment available for industry.

Collaboration with prestigious universities and research institutes for the development of innovative heat treatment technologies, make our process the most advanced in the market.

The ability to propose innovative solutions continuously, sometimes capable of bringing small but significant improvements, and in some cases even revolutionary, has allowed Raphanel to grow and remain a reference point in the world for the most important spice processing companies.

Our research and technology centre helps to develop the most efficient thermal processes ensuring consistent product quality, food safety and long life.

At RAPHANEL SYSTEM COMPANY S.L. we are developing a research project that basically consists of: DESIGN OF A NEW STERILIZATION CHAMBER FOR THE TREATMENT OF DEHYDRATED FOODS PRESERVING THEIR ORGANOLEPTIC PROPERTIES.

The main objective of this project is to create a new sterilization chamber that allows optimal treatment for all kinds of dehydrated products. The sterilization process in this new chamber, using steam, is carried out by dynamic exposure of the product, preserving its natural characteristics.

The project is under development and is expected to be completed in 2024. Its execution will entail an investment of approximately 223,000 euros. It has been developed with the help of the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) of the Ministry of Science and Innovation and co-financed by the European Union (ERDF Funds) through the Pluri-regional Operational Program of Spain (2021-2027).
